Suppliers from the personal care, cosmetics and beauty industries will showcase their latest products, technologies and innovations live at the show.
Robinson PLC will highlight its range of personal care and beauty products including plastic bottles, jars, jars, containers and jars. Her two-part book jackets, which can be used to launch a variety of new products, including new cosmetic lines, will also be on display. The envelope cardboard is made from 100% post-consumer recycled paper and is widely recyclable.
New Vision Packaging will showcase a selection of luxury folding boxes, available for brands and retailers operating in the cosmetics and beauty markets. New Vision has worked alongside Ted Baker, Seksy and Porsche to create personal care packaging that adds value to brands and the end user.
Grenier Packaging will showcase its K3® r100 solution – an innovative plastic bin with a tear-off tab, designed to make separating plastic and cardboard easier and more intuitive for consumers to aid in recycling.
K3® r100 makes it possible to allocate cardboard and plastic to the correct material flows during the initial sorting process.
Finally, Colorlites will present its range of fully customizable glassware. Glass can be used for a range of personal care items including spray bottles, perfume bottles and cosmetic jars. Products can be decorated using a vignette finish, hot foil or transfers.
Organized in three stages, Packaging Innovations and Empack 2022 will host an in-depth seminar program, aimed at addressing a plethora of issues affecting the industry. Both Packaging Innovations stages will cover the latest industry news from packaging designers and technologists, and guests will hear from several brand owners and entrepreneurs about their visions for the coming year.
Meanwhile, the Empack Stage will showcase topics for the manufacturing, logistics and process industries, with talks covering topics such as e-fulfilment, energy efficiency and robotics.
The show’s star, The Big Debate, will discuss the latest sustainability packaging regulatory challenges and how packaging professionals can adapt to new legislation.
The popular “Dragon’s Den” style competition, the Ecopack Challenge, will be back with Ocado’s Laura Fernandez heading the judging panel. Here, sustainability innovators will pitch their solutions in front of a panel of experienced judges, vying for the title.
Elsewhere, the Innovation Showcase will go to Packaging Innovations and Empack 2022, in a competition that will see 12 finalists and their solutions compete for the title of “Most Innovative Pack”.
Renan Joel, Division Manager at Easyfairs, concludes: “It’s been a long time without an NEC show, and we can’t wait to be back in Birmingham this year. It will be great for the packaging community to see old and new faces and foster good relationships within the industry. We have a dense program this year, with a wide variety of exhibitors, an expert-led seminar program and several exciting challenges and competitions. There really is something for everyone. We can’t wait for the doors to open!
