5 international brands entering Canada for the first time

Canadians can now join in on all the fun! A handful of international brands are finally establishing themselves in the country for the very first time. In return, we won’t have to browse online or cross the border to get our hands on these products. We can’t wait to see what else this year has in store for us!

Here are some international brands that are coming to Canada for the first time.

Diptych

The chic French perfume brand, Diptych, is opening its first-ever location in Toronto, Canada this year at Yorkdale Mall. Diptyque is recognized for its exceptional quality and for never using synthetic fragrances in any of its products. It offers not only candles and fragrances, but also diffusers, vaporizers, bath and body care and home decor. The store is expected to open in the coming months, according to Retail Insider.

ready to eat

ready to eat is looking to enter Canada through a partnership with A&W to begin opening stores. The deal is for a two-year trial phase, and if all goes well, A&W will be allowed to expand the brand to the rest of Canada. According blogTOan A&W representative has confirmed with them that the pilot locations will in fact be in the GTA.

Carlo’s Bakery

Carlo’s Bakery will soon have two Canadian showcases on its list. In January, he opened his very first bakery in Port Credit to offer iconic cakes, lobster tails, sandwiches, coffee and more. The second branch will open this summer at 24, rue Bellair in Yorkville, Toronto.

Ganni

Ganni is now in Canada with a physical store for the first time, right in Yorkdale Mall. According Retail Insider, there will likely be many more Ganni stores in the near future since the brand established partnerships with Hudson’s Bay and Holt Renfrew before the pandemic. You may even have noticed the brand’s assortment of pieces while browsing the HBC site where you can shop Ganni duty-free!

Nobu

Toronto will have its own Nobu by 2023! Finally, Torontonians will be able to discover the menu of the famous restaurant in the heart of the city. When completed, Nobu Toronto will be 45 stories high and will contain luxury residential units and hotel suites, as well as the signature two-level restaurant.
