Aveeno Skin Relief Moisturizing Lotion, $26.90, and Body Wash, $21.90
I’m a big fan of Aveeno because I know it’s very gentle on the skin and actually helps calm irritated skin. I play a lot of sports (especially tennis and squash) and sometimes get rashes, mostly from sweating. I use the Aveeno Body Wash and Skin Relief Lotion and find that it soothes my skin and the breakouts go away. I took it to Australia on vacation where I was often at the beach and my skin was exposed to lots of sun and sea water. The products helped the skin after a whole morning at the beach. Even my youngest daughter, who suffers from minor eczema, found it helped with her skin issues too.
Dr. Belter’s Quickstart Gel Wash, $73, and Clarity Concentrate, $69
I don’t like elaborate beauty routines, so choosing a quality face wash is one of the easiest ways to take care of my skin. This soap-free gel cleanser is soothing to the face and works well with my combination skin. Its gentle abrasive particles leave your skin soft and clean and there’s an icy kick that will wake you up in the morning; the anti-irritant formula is also ideal if you have sensitive skin. With so much time spent masked, acne and facial blemishes are a recurring problem. While most acne creams I’ve used tend to leave skin feeling hard and dry, the Clarity Concentrate dries, disinfects, and even soothes the affected area.

Dr. Barbara Sturm Hyaluronic Serum, $445, and Face Cream for Men, $250
I don’t have a skincare routine; all i do is wash my face with water and once in a while i use soap. My skin condition is dry and sometimes also flaky. The hyaluronic serum always leaves my skin feeling fresh and refreshing. After a week of daily use, my skin feels tighter and firmer. The face cream went on my skin easily and absorbed quickly, but it left a slightly sticky feeling that I wasn’t used to. After using it daily for a week, I could also feel and see that my skin was smoother than before. The pump on the face cream bottle makes it easy to apply, making it easy to stick to a skincare routine for a rough guy like me.

Fenty Beauty Hydra Vizor Broad Spectrum Moisturizing Sunscreen SPF 30, $55
Long, complicated men’s grooming routines aren’t my thing. So when my wife suggested I try a moisturizer that includes sunscreen, I thought, hey, it’s a two-in-one. Fenty Skin’s Hydra Vizor is just that – light-as-air hydration and invisible sun protection cream that, if you follow the directions on the box, you’ll apply every day – no excuses. This skin product is easy to use, easy to apply, non-greasy and has a refreshing scent. It has a slight purple tint when applied and absorbs quickly. The two-piece pump package self-seals with a twist of the base – great if you’re traveling. It is also an eco-friendly product, with refills available. A huge plus is that it’s coral reef-friendly, with no nasty oxybenzone or octinoxate — which, given that CEO Rihanna grew up in Barbados, isn’t a surprise.
By Philocali Liquid Mask, $99
It’s a great product for the skin because it’s very easy to use as an all-in-one product rather than going through individual bottles in a skincare routine. After washing your face, you can spray it on and let it absorb. it’s so simple that there is no need to rinse. Collagen and built-in moisturizer help firm and hydrate skin. I’ve never subscribed to a men’s grooming routine and since this covers all the bases, it’s definitely a great product for all men.
Clarity Collection – Cleanser ($30, 135ml), Toner ($48, 250ml) and Lotion ($38, 50ml)
The Pixi range is easy to use as part of a holistic men’s skincare routine and feels great on the skin as the entire range contains salicylic, lactic and glycolic acid which helps to cool and exfoliate the skin. First, the cleanser polishes my skin and cleans my pores, followed by the toner to remove impurities, the last step being the lotion, which boosts hydration by penetrating well into the skin without leaving any shine. Its smaller packaging also makes it a great product for the skin when traveling.
